Reading is not the same as being ready
We build one thing, for students sitting real papers at tertiary level: a paper somebody else set, marked without sympathy, and an honest read on which topics would cost you marks.
The study that tells you where you stand
Re-reading is the study that feels like progress. Sitting a paper is the study that tells you where you actually stand — and it tells you now, while there is still time to go back to the topic you got wrong, instead of in the exam hall, where finding out is all you get to do.
By the time you are sitting a licensing paper or a semester exam, material is not what you are short of. You have the handouts, the slides and the textbook. What you cannot get hold of is a paper that examines you on them — written by somebody who is not you, marked without sympathy, and finished in time to be useful.
There are only three honest places a question can come from: the material you already hold, the outline your course was published against, or a subject expert who has never seen your work. What they have in common is the part re-reading cannot do for you.
It is worth doing because of what the alternative costs. A licensing paper you fail is another sitting, another fee, and months before you can practise. A course paper is a resit. Neither is a bill you pay for not knowing the material — it is a bill you pay for not finding out in time which parts you did not know.

The limits of each door, in the same words the page explaining that door uses. A product that only tells you what it is good at has told you half.
Your notes
- The questions are generated, and generated questions can be wrong. Check anything that surprises you before you learn it.
- It can only test what you gave it. A gap in your notes is a gap in the paper — that is the honest limit of this door, and the reason the other two exist.
- You decide in the last step of the wizard whether a quiz you generate is private to you or shared.
Your course
- Papers are drawn against the objectives in the outline the course page links. That is a claim you can check in ten seconds against the document you were handed.
- Built against a published course outline is not the same as approved by the institution, and we do not say that it is.
- We do not carry every programme yet. Where yours is missing the page says so rather than opening onto an empty room, and you can ask for it — the most-requested get built first.
- The sitting is the same engine an expert-set mock uses: one question at a time, a clock kept on the server, one attempt.
An expert
- Independence comes from who wrote the questions. The expert who sets your paper has not seen your work.
- It is not generated, and it is not drawn from questions you have already seen.
- The answer key never reaches your browser. Questions arrive one at a time, the clock is kept on the server, and leaving the tab is recorded and shown on your result.
- The report suppresses any lens the data cannot support — too few questions on a topic and it will not rank it at all. A confident-looking chart off four questions is a claim you have no way to check.
- On a group paper your mark is released straight away, but the examiner's reasoning waits until everyone has sat. That is a real cost to you: releasing it immediately would hand a Monday sitter the marking scheme for the paper a groupmate sits on Friday.
- A past paper you send us stays yours. What we make from it goes back to you and to anyone sitting with you on that request — it does not enter our question banks, it is never drawn into somebody else's paper, and we do not sell it on.
- We only work on a paper that has already been sat, and we ask you to say so.
